The GraphiQL Explorer is the data platform's interactive interface for exploring the schema and running GraphQL queries directly in the browser.

Features

The Explorer provides:

• field and argument auto-completion while typing;
• inline validation of queries against the schema before submission;
• execution of the query against the endpoint with full display of the response, including any errors;
• a Variables section for separating query text from values.

Typical workflow

1. Enter or paste a query in the editor.
2. Optionally define variables in the Variables (JSON) pane.
3. Run the query.
4. Carry the validated query into your own code – see Python and curl.

Limits

Queries run from the Explorer are subject to the same conditions as direct HTTP requests:

• a maximum of 10 000 rows per query;
• no implicit ordering;
• no offset or cursor pagination.
